Agnetha Faltskog
Although she has made a name for herself a solo performer within Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be remembered as an ABBA member an iconic and commercially successful and internationally adored pop bands ever. Leaving school at 15 to pursue a career in music after which she began singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt and attracted a fan following. After Enghardt's encouragement, she landed the record label and was a top performer in Sweden with her first release. Bjornulvaeus later married as her boyfriend, was also in the mix and she was a part of ABBA. Through the rest of the eight years, 'ABBA' would become one of the top music groups in the world which earned multiple platinum and gold medals throughout the world. She released three albums after ABBA which included 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me,"Eyes of a Girl', and I Stand Alone,' that were each extremely successful in Sweden in addition to gaining recognition in Europe, but not in the U.S. In the '80s, ABBA's music was the topic of a jukebox musical called 'Mamma Mia!'. Her return from her retirement to release 'My Coloring Book' that reached 11 at the top of U.K. charts. The most recent album A was highly acclaimed.
